An O-ring is put in the mix to add further friction - this can be at the end of the threads before the lip or inside the suppressor by design. indexing on the muzzle means there is a shelf inside the suppressor that bumps against the end of the barrel to stop rotation as opposed to threading on back of the can to hit on a lip/shelf larger than the threads on the barrel - the friction against either the lip or end of the barrel is supposed to keep it from unscrewing. Is there a nice "noobs guide to suppressors" on here that I can read so I don't sound like an idiot.
